Assembly Line Pro by Tofu Solution — Effective May 10, 2026

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before installing or using Assembly Line Pro (the "App"), a Shopify application operated by Tofu Solution ("we", "us", or "our"). By installing, accessing, or using the App you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

1. Eligibility

The App is available exclusively to merchants with an active Shopify store. By using the App you represent that you are authorised to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the business operating the store, and that your use of the App complies with all applicable laws and Shopify's Terms of Service.

2. Description of the App

Assembly Line Pro is a bill-of-materials (BOM) inventory management tool for Shopify merchants who manufacture or assemble finished goods from raw materials. Core features include:

We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features at any time. We will endeavour to notify merchants of material changes via the App or email.

3. Subscription and Billing

Plans

The App is offered on a free plan and several paid subscription plans (Starter, Growth, and Pro). Paid plan features, pricing, and variant limits are listed on the Pricing page. Plan details may change; active subscribers will be notified in advance of price increases.

Billing through Shopify

All paid subscriptions are billed directly through Shopify's billing system. Charges appear on your Shopify invoice. Tofu Solution does not directly process or store payment card information. Billing terms, refund rights, and dispute procedures are governed by Shopify's Terms of Service and your agreement with Shopify.

Free Trial

New subscribers may receive a free trial period as advertised at the time of subscription. Trial eligibility is determined by Shopify's billing platform and applies once per shop per app. Subscribing at the end of the trial automatically initiates recurring billing.

Cancellation

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time through the Shopify Admin under Apps > Assembly Line Pro > Billing, or by uninstalling the App. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period unless required by applicable law.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must not:

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Tofu Solution and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App solely for the purpose of managing your Shopify store's inventory.

You retain full ownership of all data you create within the App — raw material definitions, BOM configurations, stock records, and any other content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process and store that data solely to provide the App's features to you.

6. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with and depends on the following third-party services. Your use of the App is subject to each service's own terms and policies.

Shopify

The App is built on the Shopify platform and uses Shopify's APIs to read product and inventory data, write inventory quantities, process billing, and handle authentication. Your continued use of the App requires an active Shopify store and compliance with Shopify's Terms of Service and API Terms. Changes to Shopify's platform, pricing, or API availability may affect the App's functionality; we are not responsible for such changes.

Google (optional)

The Google Sheets integration (available on Growth and Pro plans) uses Google's OAuth 2.0 service and the Google Sheets API to read and write data to a spreadsheet in your Google Drive. By enabling this integration you authorise the App to access your Google account within the scope you approve during the OAuth flow. Your use of Google services is governed by Google's Terms of Service. You may revoke the App's Google access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

Render (hosting infrastructure)

The App is hosted on Render, a cloud application hosting platform. Your data is stored on servers managed by Render in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We have implemented appropriate access controls to ensure your data is isolated and accessible only to authorised processes.

7. Data and Privacy

How we collect, store, and handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App you consent to the data practices described therein.

Upon uninstalling the App, we process Shopify's mandatory GDPR deletion webhooks and remove your shop data within 30 days. You may also request deletion at any time by contacting us at the address in Section 13.

8. Uptime and Support

We make reasonable efforts to keep the App available and performant, but we do not guarantee any specific uptime percentage. Planned maintenance, Shopify platform outages, or infrastructure incidents may temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any losses arising from App downtime.

Support is provided via email at [email protected]. We aim to respond to support requests within 3 business days. Priority support is available on the Pro plan.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that inventory calculations will be error-free or that the App will meet your specific business requirements.

You are solely responsible for verifying that inventory levels published to your Shopify store are accurate before relying on them for fulfilment, purchasing, or financial decisions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tofu Solution and its directors, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to lost profits, lost revenue, inventory errors, overselling, lost data, or business interruption — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total subscription fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tofu Solution and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' notice via the App or by email to the address associated with your Shopify store. Continued use of the App after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably by contacting us at the address below. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction.
