Can I change plans later?

Yes — upgrade or downgrade any time directly from your Shopify Admin. Billing adjusts automatically on your next cycle. No need to contact support.

What counts as a “tracked variant”?

Any Shopify product variant that has a Bill of Materials configured in Assembly Line Pro. Variants you haven't opted in don't count toward your limit.

Does the Free plan stay free forever?

Yes. The Free plan is permanently free — no trial period, no credit card required, no expiry. It's limited to one tracked variant, but it never goes away.

Is Google Sheets required to use the app?

No — Google Sheets is entirely optional. The app works fully without it on all plans. Sheets sync is an add-on available on Growth and Pro plans for teams that prefer a spreadsheet workflow.
